Covington hosted its Sausage and Cider Festival on Aug. 18 at the Covington Community Park. There was live music from JT Shank and the Florida Keys. There was also a variety of lawn games for people to enjoy on the hot summer day. There were dozens of Northwest ciders and sample sausages for people to enjoy as well. Proceeds from the Fest went to support initiatives for the Covington Kiwanis Club, which is include The Eliminate Project, Children’s Cancer Program, Covington Youth Athletics and more.
