Rehearsals start next week for the Maple Valley Community Choir.

Ken Riggs, choral director at Tahoma High School and Tahoma Junior High, will direct adult singers in the fourth season of the community choir. Singers in all voice ranges are needed – sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. Auditions aren’t necessary, but the ability to read music is recommended. Also, each member will be asked to donate $20 to cover choir costs.

Rehearsals are scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 3, 10, 17 and 24 and Dec. 1 and 10 in preparation for a concert Dec. 12 at the high school.
