Editor’s note: Sean P. Kelley is the mayor of Maple Valley
I would like to take this opportunity to encourage voters within the Soos Creek Water & Sewer District boundary to vote for Alan Eades as commissioner, Position 2.
I have had the privilege of working with Alan on multiple committees over the past five years and I know that he is the right candidate for the job. I’ve seen him in various leadership roles, having been nominated and voted into the position by his peers. He knows the value of listening first and foremost, then takes action for the benefit of the group. He is a creative problem solver and instills confidence in those he works with. He brings professionalism and a commitment of fair play to the table that is always much appreciated and beneficial. He works collaboratively with everyone involved and understands the important role that teamwork plays, especially when serving the public.
Over the years I have come to appreciate Alan’s humble and systematic approach to solving problems. As a former employee of 26 years for Soos Creek and current commissioner for a local water district, he has an abundance of knowledge in the field of water and sewer. Alan sitting on the Soos Creek board will be a tremendous asset to both utilities. This will encourage cooperation and solidarity between the districts and cities. Alan knows that when local governments work collaboratively, it is both beneficial and favorable to you, the ratepayers. Alan will be able foster discussions that will allow districts and government agencies to operate more efficiently by utilizing resources between districts.
Alan’s honesty and integrity is second to none. He is committed to providing exemplary service and I know that he will be a great commissioner for Soos Creek Water & Sewer District, and for you, the ratepayer.
Please remember to vote in the Nov. 7 election, and vote for Alan Eades as commissioner!
Sean P. Kelly,
Maple Valley
