Time to vote for Black Diamond’s Proposition No. 1 public safety levy

If you have not voted for Black Diamond's Proposition No. 1 public safety levy, we invite you to do so as soon as possible. The levy is a continuation of funding for the Black Diamond Police Department, fire department and emergency services and replaces the 2004 levy that expires in December 2010.

If you have not voted for Black Diamond’s Proposition No. 1 public safety levy, we invite you to do so as soon as possible. The levy is a continuation of funding for the Black Diamond Police Department, fire department and emergency services and replaces the 2004 levy that expires in December 2010.

It is not a new tax, but is needed to keep the level of service we now enjoy. There is a reason why all of the Black Diamond elected officials and the former Black Diamond mayors are for this Levy. We in Black Diamond enjoy low crime rates, great response times and wonderful service from our dedicated police and fire departments.

Please vote for the Proposition No. 1 levy. Be aware, the voter ballot drop box is no longer at the library, so please put a stamp on your ballot and mail it before April 27th. Thank you for caring.
