I’d like to give a huge shout out to Norm, Tammy and Bryant Mack of the Maple Valley Grocery Outlet. Tahoma Senior High School is holding a Grad Night extravaganza the night of graduation, June 11 this year. This event is a year long in planning, so that kids have a safe, drug free, alcohol free celebration after graduation. About 300 students will be taken by bus to two undisclosed locations for a graduation party. Previous locations have included Bullwinkle’s Family Fun Center, Argosy Cruises and Acme Bowling! There will be hypnotists, a cash cube, food, games and more. It will be a lot of fun for the new graduates.

A group of parents coordinates this effort and I’ve volunteered to help get donations for snacks and prizes for the kids. Norm, Tammy and Bryant Mack were quick to say they would help and sent me shopping in their great new store. Because of their generosity, the kids will have plenty of things to satisfy their hunger and thirst while on the buses for the Grad Night Party.
