Support Hanson, Mulvihill, McCain for Black Diamond City Council | Letter

We mailed our ballots for the candidates in the Black Diamond City Council Positions No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5. We voted for two incumbents and one new candidate. The two incumbents, Leih Mulvihill and Kristine Hanson, have both shown great leadership under trying circumstances during the recent hearings. We believe that they have both represented the majority view and opinions of their constituents.

Our third candidate, Pam McCain, is a successful business person who has shown that she understands the issues and we believe she can bring fresh ideas to the city.

All three candidates believe in the future of Black Diamond with growth paying for growth. To them, the future looks healthy, with award-winning planned communities that will bring new roads, a new fire station, new city hall, new schools and ball fields for kids, in a city where people will excited to live.

They see people looking forward to establishing businesses here where there will be an available local work force. Some of those businesses could be grocery stores, pharmacies, co-ops, media stores, theaters, retirement centers, medical centers, craft stores, fabric stores, eateries, hardware stores, sporting goods, etc.

The future of Black Diamond looks bright.

Hanson, McCain and Mulvihill have a very positive outlook and realize that future growth will enhance our historic district, other areas of the city, and bring financial stability to Black Diamond. These candidates have the intestinal fortitude and wisdom to represent the citizens of Black Diamond during this time of change.

As voters we know a healthy future for Black Diamond includes planned growth. So we ask you to vote for Black Diamond’s future by voting with us for Hanson, McCain and Mulvihill.

Your vote really counts.
