To the Editor:

Warning to the citizens of Black Diamond: we had a doorbelling visit from fellow named Bill M. who said he was representing candidate Dave Gordon. To cut a long story short—he claimed various things about (mayoral) candidate Keith Watson which we did not believe.

We are acquainted with Watson and were able to find out from (Watson) that many people have complained about this type of deceitful behavior by Bill M. and Dave Gordon. You can judge people by their behavior, they don’t change — falsehoods are a way of life for them.

Why would anybody trust people who condone this type of behavior to take a leadership role in our city?
