St. Barbara Catholic Church continues its weekly support of the Black Diamond Community Center Food Bank. Every Monday pounds of food comes in from the parishioners’ Sunday donations.

The parish also donates diapers, toiletries, cleaning supplies and money. The Knights of Columbus and the Circle of Joy also support the community center through its own fundraising events.

Not only does the BDCC get support with guidance from Father Dave, but starting Aug. 1, the Community Meals will be served at the Parish Social Hall. All are welcome to the meal, served between 5 and 6:30 p.m.

Our community is blessed to have this support for the BDCC Food Bank and all the folks who want a great free meal every Wednesday.
