Kid to Kid, a retail franchise that buys and sells children’s and maternity goods, has opened a store in Covington at 16908 SE. 269th Pl.

The store is an alternative to throwing away clothing and other children’s goods by offering cash for customers’ items, said owner-operator Annette Cyr.

Nationally, Kid to Kid stores have bought more than $2.5 million in children’s products in the past year that otherwise might have been thrown away, according to Cyr.
