KeyBank opens Lake Wilderness branch in Maple Valley

KeyBank is opening its new location known as the Lake Wilderness Branch in Maple Valley at 23928 225th Way S.E. It is the second branch in the city for the Cleveland-based bank. Kirk Lantier will be moving from the management of the Four Corners KeyBank branch to the new bank.

Lantier said the bank’s official opening is Monday, Oct. 18 and with grand opening festivities planned for Nov. 13.

One of the features for the new branch is it will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The Monday through Thursday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

The bank features a video wall behind the tellers, a community wall with historical pictures including shots of Lake Wilderness and Cedar River.

The 46-year-old Lantier said the branch is a full-service bank handling business, personal banking and mortgages. There is a conference room at the branch and safe deposit boxes

Lantier said he was born in Lafayette, La. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1986 and moved to Washington in 1991.

He has been with KeyBank for 10 years.

“This is an opportunity where I get the best of both worlds,” Lantier said. “I get to build from the ground up and work in the same community.”
