The Metropolitan King County gave its unanimous approval to the appointment of Erin Aboudara of Fairwood in unincorporated King County to serve as a representative on the King County Women’s Advisory Board for Council District 9.

“Erin has spent her entire life in King County and is very involved in her community,” said Councilman Reagan Dunn, who nominated Aboudara to serve on the Advisory Board and represents the Fairwood community on the council. “Her work on the Kent PTA and the leadership roles she has held representing over 1,500 homeowners of the Fairwood Greens home owners association, gives her a unique perspective to bring to the board.”

The King County Women’s Advisory Board makes recommendations to the King County Executive and the King County Council to ensure the needs, rights and well-being of women are taken into account by county government.
