Adoption fee for adult dogs reduced to $50 for a limited time With the weather warming up it is beginning to feel like the dog days of summer.

Regional Animal Services of King County is celebrating by reducing the adoption fee for adult dogs to just $50 for a limited time.

“Now is a great time to visit the Pet Adoption Center to pick out a pooch,” said RASKC manager Dr. Gene Mueller.

Also during the $100K Challenge, which runs through August 31, adoption fees on adult cats are waived.

All cats and dogs adopted from RASKC come spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and have received a veterinary health exam.

The King County Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Hours are Monday 3 to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday noon to 6 p.m., and weekends noon to 5 p.m.
