Tahoma’s Coleman Wooten led his team with 19 points while Paul Loranger added 14 in the 54-40 victory over South Puget Sound League North rival Kentridge.
In the week since that game, Tahoma followed that up with a seven point loss on Dec. 22 to White River, then bounced back to crush Tyee, another non-league foe, 91-42 on Tuesday.
Wooten and Loranger led the Bears in the win on Tuesday, pouring in 21 and 20 points respectively.
Tahoma (3-3, 5-5) hosts Kent-Meridian (6-1, 7-3) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, in an SPSL North showdown. The Bears will be tested against the Royals, who are coming off a 56-39 victory over Bishop Blanchet Thursday and are one of the top teams in the league.
