An officer observed a vehicle traveling in the 29200 block of 216th Avenue SE with defective brake lights. Upon initiating a traffic stop and contacting the male driver, a records check confirmed his license was suspended.

  • WARRANT ARREST: 29200 block of 216th Avenue SE. An officer observed a vehicle traveling in the 29200 block of 216th Avenue SE with defective brake lights. Upon initiating a traffic stop and contacting the male driver, a records check confirmed his license was suspended. An additional record check showed the male driver had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest out of the Washington State Patrol. The subject was arrested and custody was transferred to the Washington State Patrol. The subject was issued a criminal citation for the suspended license charge.

  • SHATTERED WINDSHIELD: 31600 block of 3rd Avenue. An officer observed a vehicle traveling in the 31600 block of 3rd Avenue with a shattered windshield. Upon initiating a traffic stop and contacting the female driver, she advised she did not have any identification on her and never had a valid driver’s license. A records check confirmed that the female driver only had an identification card. The female driver was issued a criminal citation and released at the scene.

  • DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: 32400 block of Union Drive. Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 32400 block of Union Drive for a domestic violence incident report. Upon arrival officers contacted the parties involved, a male parent and a female juvenile. The male parent advised he had disciplined his teenage child for inappropriate behavior, but the teenage child felt it was excessive. Both parties were separated for the night and the case was referred to the Black Diamond Prosecutor for review of the incident.
