The Kentwood and Tahoma baseball teams met for the first time this season with the Conquerors coming out on top 5-2.
Kentwood kept its undefeated record intact handing the Bears team its first South Puget Sound League, 4A north loss.
The teams played Friday night at the Auburn Mountainview High field, a turf field that allowed the game to be played despite the rain earlier in the day.
Kentwood, the home team, sent Alexander Lee to the hill. Lee picked up the victory.
Tahoma had Chris Marangon throwing.
David Parrot hit a hanging off-speed out for Kentwood in the second frame.
Jerad Casper put one out for the Bears.
Kentwood is 4-0 in league and 5-0 overall.
Tahoma is 3-1 in league and 4-2 overall.
