The Maple Valley Farmers Market will hold its third Annual Home-style Chili Cook Off on Saturday, Sept. 22 at Rock Creek Elementary School.

This annual event is sponsored by Ross Olive State Farm Insurance and will be a judged event with cash prizes being awarded for first place, second place, third place and People’s Choice Award winners.

Public sampling of all the chili entries will be available, beginning at 11 a.m., for a $5 donation to the Maple Valley Farmers’ Market.
