When widespread disasters strike, such as floods or windstorms, emergency responders and City workers will be overwhelmed.  This course is designed to give people the skills and confidence to safely help themselves and others when help is delayed.

The eight week program meets on Thursdays from 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.  In addition, an evening session meets on the same Thursdays from 6 p.m. -9:30 p.m.   Help ensure that your family will be prepared for a major disaster and able to care for themselves if you are unable to get to them quickly, and until help arrives.
