The Tahoma baseball team took an 8-5 win at home over Kent-Meridian Thursday after falling behind early. On a cold afternoon, the Bears went down 4-2 after the first inning, but the boys kept swinging the bat, running the bases and throwing until taking the lead in the fourth.

Jordan Johansen picked up the win for the Bears and Brian Olson the save.

Jared Casper went 3-4 at the dish with an RBI for Tahoma and Justin Cloud hit 2-4 with two RBIs.

Shortstop Taylor Smart hit 3-3 with a triple.
