The Black Diamond Police Department and a regional Major Crimes Task Force are  investigating an incident involving a six year-old girl who was found deceased in her bedroom by family members.

Firefighters from King County Fire District 44 and King County paramedics responded to the call at 1:36 p.m. in the 25100 block of Roberts Drive, but were unable to revive the patient.

Police are interviewing family members as the investigation continues. A second child in the home was not involved in the incident.
