• Accomplishment: Kraft scored a pair of goals, leading Kentwood past Beamer, 3-0, for the South Puget Sound League championship last week.

DEVIN ST. CLAIR
Kentwood
• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Football.
• Accomplishment: St. Clair came up huge in overtime last week against Edmonds-Woodway, picking off a Warriors’ pass to seal Kentwood’s 35-28 win. St. Clair, whose also a threat at wide receiver and on special teams, collected 189 total yards of total offense as well (143 in returns, 30 receiving and 16 rushing).

• Favorite movie: Friday Nigh Lights.
• Most recent book read/author: “Catcher in the Rye” by J.D. Salinger.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: (Track star) Usain Bolt. I’d serve mini-burgers because they sound good.
• Also noted: St. Clair took second and third in the 100 and 200 respectively at last year’s state track meet.
ELLE MORTENSEN
Kentwood
• Grade: Junior.
• Sport: Volleyball.
• Accomplishment: Mortensen spanked out 10 kills, leading the Conquerors to a four-game victory over Bethel last Saturday and thus clinching a state berth on the first day of the West Central District tournament.
• Favorite class: AP Photography.
• Favorite movie: Pride and Prejudice.
• Most recent book read/author: “High Tide in Tucson” by Barbara Kingsolver.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: My best friend, Jordan Bush. Snow crab, mashed potatoes with root beer floats.
• Also noted: Mortensen also plays club volleyball for Kent Juniors and carries a 3.7 grade-point average.
SHANNON McNALLY

• Sport: Soccer.
• Accomplishment: McNally lifted Kentwood to its fourth straight state berth, scoring the team’s long goal in a 1-0 district tournament win over Gig Harbor.
• Favorite class: AP Psychology or European History.
• Favorite movie: Benchwarmers.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (teammates) Dane Wareham, Courtney Johnson and Kiana Kraft. We would go to Chipotle Grill.

KAILA WILKINSON

• Sport: Soccer.
• Accomplishment: Wilkinson combined with teammate Amber Woolcock in a 2-0 shutout of Beamer last Saturday. The shutout over the third-ranked Titans helped the Bears secure their first state berth since 2005.
• Favorite class: AP Psychology.
• Favorite movie: Anchorman.
• Most recent book read/author: “My Sister’s Keeper” by Jodi Picoult.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Will Ferrell because I love his movies and I would serve teriyaki.
AMBER WOOLCOCK
Tahoma
• Grade: Sophomore.
• Sport: Soccer.
• Accomplishment: Woolcock combined with teammate Kaila Wilkinson for a 2-0 shutout of Beamer last Saturday afternoon. The win helped the Bears seal a state berth.
• Favorite class: Science, but it changes daily.
• Favorite movie: Million Dollar Baby.
