VANDALISM

• Vandalism to a parked car was reported at 3:48 p.m. on Aug, 18 at a parking lot outside of Starbucks, 26910 state Route 169.

• Police received a report at 3:45 p.m. on Aug. 13 of a community park vandalized on the 23000 block of Southeast 280th Street.

EXPLOSIVE REMOVAL

• Police received a report at 3:40 p.m. on Aug. 15 of residents moving into a home on the 22700 block of Southeast 277th Place and found a suspected grenade.

TRESPASSING

• Trespassing was reported at 12:02 a.m. on Aug. 16 at Kentwood High School, 25800 164th Ave. SE.

ASSAULT

• An assault causing injury to a police officer was reported at 9:24 p.m. on Aug. 16 at McDonalds, 26924 state Route 169.

LARCENY

• A mail theft was reported at 2:38 p.m. on Aug. 19 from a private mailbox on the 24100 block of Southeast 202nd Street.

• A vehicle break in was reported at 11:24 a.m. on Aug. 19 in the Lake Wilderness parking lot, 22500 SE 248th St.

• A watch theft was reported at 11:25 p.m. on Aug. 18 at a residence on the 19000 block of Southeast 269th Street.

• A forced entry commercial burglary was reported at 8:32 a.m. on Aug. 18 at the Millwork Outlet, 28730 state Route 169.

• Cigarettes were reported stolen at 10:47 p.m. on Aug. 16 by a female customer at the 76 gas station, 16405 SE 272nd St.

DRIVING

• Police reported at 4:54 p.m. on Aug. 18 that a motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital following an accident with a truck at Southeast 272nd Street and 168th Place Southeast.

• A DUI was reported at 8:06 p.m. on Aug. 17 on the 24200 block of Witte Road Southeast.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

• Police reported teens smoking marijuana in a parked vehicle at 12:11 a.m. on Aug. 18 on the 23500 block of Southeast 240th Place. Parents were contacted and picked up the teens at the scene.
