The entire camp will be at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Maple Valley and is only $10.

The orchestra began in the fall of 2007 and has grown its program in both size and numbers.

“We offer this camp at a low price because we want people to come check us out,” April Whyte said, conductor of the orchestra. The camp will offer the student large group playing experience, small group playing experience, coaching and a T-shirt.

“We are not skimping on quality at this price,” Whyte said. “We want to offer a great camp at such a great price, you can’t say no. At the same time it helps us grow our program.

“Epic” Summer Music Camp is offered to students with two or more years of playing experience on their instrument. Call 425-358-1640 or visit www.mvyso.org and click on Summer Camp in the upper right hand corner the home page for more information or to register.
