Community members can expect to “collect free stuff when you go” to Kentwood High School’s 16th annual trade show from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 30. The show has a Monopoly theme and is being managed by an advanced marketing class at Kentwood. Over 80 companies from around the country and the local community will be represented by Kentwood’s marketing students in a fun-filled family setting in the Kentwood High gym.

The show is designed to help connect the community with local companies and create a hands-on learning experience for marketing students.

Some expected participants are Nike, Microsoft, and Pepsi, along with local businesses such as Paulo’s Italian Restaurant, Reber Ranch, and sea206 Clothing.

“The hardest thing about the trade show is that most people don’t understand what it is. Most people would go if they found out they get to walk around with their friends and collect free stuff, so this year we are pushing to get the word out,” Junior Haley Dvorak said.
