Community Choir concert Dec. 17 at Tahoma Middle School | Choir seeking singers

Ken Riggs, Tahoma High School and junior high choral teacher, will direct local, adult singers in the annual Holiday Concert, 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at Tahoma Middle School, 24425 Southeast 216th Street Maple Valley. A $5 donation is suggested.

Choral singers are being recruited in all voice ranges including sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. No auditions are necessary. The ability to read music is recommended.

A short-term rehearsal schedule is planned to accommodate everyone’s busy schedule. Rehearsal dates are Nov. 8, 15, 22 and 29 and Dec. 6 and 13. The choir will meet 7-8:30 p.m. in the choir room at Tahoma High School, 18200 S.E. 240th St., Covington

The repertoire will include traditional Christmas and holiday season songs. The Tahoma High School treble choir will perform during half the concert. Our audience of friends, family and community members will be in for a wonderful, holiday treat

Dust off those rusty vocal cords and join your fellow community members in a wonderful opportunity to sing and perform with fellow community members.
