On Sunday, Aug. 16 at 2 p.m. the Tahoma National Cemetery will host a Spirit of ‘45 Day ceremony.
This global tribute is to honor the end of World War II.
A short wreath laying service will be held by the flag pole assembly area to honor, remember and celebrate the veterans and their families.
World War II veterans who volunteer will be giving presentations.
The International Tribute is to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II.
It will conclude with a ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
