Synergy Automotive, a 2,000 square foot shop facility that will offer basic work for any type of car, engine building, tune ups, and brake work, will open in Maple Valley Sept. 1. The shop will also work on race car operations.

Owner Josh Harvey has a lengthy history of working on hot rods, exotic super cars and race cars of all types. From an early age Harvey has been involved with mechanics which lead to driving and crewing for many race teams in the area including work for Team Penske. Some years back he worked at Bellevue Mercedes Benz and then Seattle Ferrari-Maserati which takes plenty of technical experience. For the last 7 years he worked for a local tool company in Renton as he learned more about the business side of the automotive world.

Josh Harvey will bring his nearly life-long involvement with automobiles and motorsports to Maple Valley at Synergy Automotive. The technical expertise he has gathered over the years will be perfect for the modern computerized vehicles that we have on the highway these days.

The Grand Opening will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with refreshments and snacks for one and all. Everyone is welcome. Come talk with Harvey about all your automotive needs. A special display at the Grand Opening will be a 150 miles per hour open-wheeler Formula Continental Indy-style road racer similar to the one Josh Harvey used to race.
