Tahoma’s Danielle Agoh wins state title in triple jump

The track and field state championship kicked off yesterday at Mount Tahoma in Tacoma.

Tahoma High senior Danielle Agoh won the title of state champion in triple jump yesterday on the first day of the track and field state championship.

Agoh won the event with a jump of 37-10.25.

Kentwood’s Sarah Toeaina came in fourth in the event with 36-11.25.

In other events yesterday, Tahoma’s Brock Eager came in third in shot put with a throw of 52-7.00 and his teammate Claire Whiting finished tenth in discus with a throw of 111-01.
