The city of Covington and King County will host a spring recycling collection event at Kentwood High School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 27.
Residents can bring motor oil and filters, antifreeze, lead acid batteries, household goods and clothing, cardboard, and bulky wood to be disposed of for free and can bring porcelain toilets and sinks, tires, propane tanks, appliances and scrap metal, refrigerators adn freezers, electronic equipment and mattresses to be disposed of for a fee.
