A man was sent to the hospital after running in front of a car on Monday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP) a Covington man in his 50s was driving westbound down State Route 900 towards 64th Avenue at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, March 9. The pedestrian was standing on the right of the shoulder when they suddenly ran in front of the car. The driver his the pedestrian before coming to a stop in the road. The road was blocked for two hours, according to the WSP press release.
The injured pedestrian was transported to Harborview Medical Center. The age and condition of the pedestrian was not released by WSP. The driver was not charged during the incident. There was no damage to the driver’s car.
