Maple Valley announced Monday, June 29 the city will provide a cooling location this week, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

In the release from City Manager David Johnston, it reads, “Residents, especially senior citizens, are strongly advised to take advantage of this cooling station, if needed.”

No pets will be permitted and no refreshments will be provided.

The cooling station is located at Lake Wilderness Lodge in the Maple Room, 22500 248th St, Maple Valley.
