Hundreds of children at Glacier Park Elementary School were joined by local veterans and families to watch the fifth grade class honor those who served for Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 8.
Fifth graders sang patriotic songs, military melodies and more before inviting local veterans up to the stage to introduce themselves, who they were invited by and to receive a rose in gratitude.
After a few more musical numbers, and a presentation by the local Color Guard, the fifth graders surprised their veteran guests by creating a long high-five line through the hallway for the veterans to walk through.
