Swim Beach back open

The Swim Beach at Lake Wilderness Park has reopened and beach closed signs were removed on Wednesday, July 3.

The Swim Beach had been closed to swim activities because high bacteria levels were detected through King County Public Health’s monitoring program.

To help keep bacteria out of the water, dogs are not allowed in the water at the Swim Beach. Visitors are asked to not feed the geese or ducks, and to use high quality swim diapers for those who need them.

There is an outdoor shower at the Beach House for beach goers to use.

Lifeguards are on duty daily from 12 to 7 p.m. (weather dependent).
