4Culture office hours next week
The King County Cultural Funding Agency and 4Culture staff will be holding office hours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the Black Diamond Museum & Historical Society.
If you are interested in applying for a grant or have questions or ideas, feel free to stop by.

Collection for domestic violence survivors
Maple Valley Allstate agent Francesca Moceri will be collecting donations from now until Oct. 14 for domestic violence survivors.
Community members are welcome to stop by her location at 23878 SE Kent Kangley Road in Maple Valley to drop off donations.

Spooktacular House of Lights now open
Free drive by viewings run daily from dusk until 11:30 p.m. now through Nov. 1 at Crest Air Park, 30211 176th Ave. SE in Covington.
Canned food donations are accepted and benefit the Black Diamond Senior Center and Food Bank.

Let’s Talk… resource event next week
The #live4garrett Suicide Prevention Project is hosting a Let’s Talk… Depression, Anxiety and Suicide event beginning at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 at the Tahoma High School Performing Arts Center.
On hand will be providers in the community that can help now, attendees will learn the signs of behavioral and mental health problems, resources to take home will be available and you will get the chance to meet others in the community who are also struggling.
