BDCC has secret helpers

Special thanks to Fire District 44 and Chief Smith, who has outstanding men and women that help out Black Diamond Community Center seniors and families.

The lead helper, Andrew, drops by the center weekly, looking for projects that seniors need done: lawn mowing, window washing, fence mending, gutter cleaning and more.

Just this past week, Andrew and Captain Knorr (yes, even the BIG bosses help out), brought their own weed eaters and cleared grass in front and behind the Community Center. Our place looks so much better. Every Thursday some fire district personnel come to the center to do free blood pressure checks at our senior lunches.
