The Black Diamond Police Department responded to a call Monday about a possible grenade in the Cedarbrook Mobile Home Park at 31108 3rd Ave.
The department received a call that a grenade was found Sunday where a trailer had been located. The trailer had been moved recently.
The woman reporting to the police stated the grenade was in her residence.
The officers responding to the call decided the Federal Way Police Department bomb squad would need to be brought in to dispose of the bomb
According to the information provided by the Black Diamond Police Department, the bomb squad took the grenade and blew it up in a nearby field.
The incident is under investigation.
