Tahoma, Kentlake and Kentwood individuals will go to districts

The three teams competed against each other in a gymnastics meet during the sub-districts tournament.

Tahoma, Kentlake and Kentwood individuals will go to districts

On Feb. 3, the Tahoma Bears, Kentwood Conks and the Kentlake falcons participated in the sub-districts meet at Mount Rainier High School.

This is the tournament that takes place before the districts tournament. If members of each team place in an event, that one person will move on to Districts to participate as an individual.

During this tournament, Kentlake tied for second with about 161 points, Tahoma place in seventh and Kentwood landed in ninth place.

Seven members of Kentlake’s team qualified for districts, eight of the Bears did as well and then six Kentwood Conks will be going to districts too.

The districts tournament will be on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Auburn Mountainview High School.
