The Tahoma boys took on Hazen High Tuesday at home and the Bears won 68-60. Tahoma took the lead early, but Hazen came back strong. The game was neck and neck until the closing minutes when Tahoma took over the game icing it with free throws. Parker Hankins, a senior, scored multiple times during the game. He made sure no one was able to stop him once he was around the opponent’s basket. The Bear’s next game is right after the New Year, on Jan. 3 against Mount Rainier High School. So far, Tahoma is in sixth place in the varsity 4A boys basketball standings.
