NEIGHBOR DISPUTE

• On Aug. 23 officers were contacted by the reporting party regarding a car belonging to her neighbor that was parked in her yard.

CUSTODIAL INTERFERENCE

• On Aug. 23 officers were contacted about ongoing custody and parenting plan issues between the reporting party in Covington and his ex-wife in Utah.

LARCENY

• On Aug. 23 an unknown suspect stole the victim’s bicycle from a trail at Lake Wilderness.

• On Aug. 27 a loss prevention employee for Fred Meyer recognized a female patron as being someone who had stolen from the store in the past. The police report stated the woman took items from the deli without paying.

• On Aug. 28 officers were contacted by the reporting party who stated their dog was missing. The police report stated the reporting party believed their dog had been stolen from their backyard.

• On Sept. 1 officers responded to reports of stepping stones being stolen from the victim’s front yard.

• On Sept. 1 officers were called to the Covington Fred Meyer to reports that a female subject had stolen laundry soap and diapers. The police report stated she was charged via investigation.

RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY

• On Aug. 23 it was reported that a pistol that was purchased on March 15, 2016 was found to have been stolen on Oct. 8, 1990 in San Bernadino, California.

TRESPASS

• On Aug. 23 officers found a suspect was staying at the LDS church property in Maple Valley. The police report stated he was staying in an outside courtyard area. The suspect was trespassed from the property.

• On Aug. 24 officers trespassed a subject from Safeway after they reportedly attempted to steal food and cosmetics.

• On Aug. 26 a manager from McDonalds requested an intoxicated subject be trespassed.

HIT AND RUN

• On Aug. 25 a suspect under the influence of drugs was approached by officers. The police report stated when contact with the driver was made, they attempted to flee. The report added when attempting to flee, the suspect hit the officer’s patrol vehicle.

BURGLARY

• On Aug. 25 it was reported that the victim’s storage unit in Maple Valley had been broken into and their comic book collection was stolen.

• On Aug. 27 it was reported that unknown suspects had forced entry into the victim’s detached garage. The police report stated items were taken from inside.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

• On Sept. 25 officers were contacted regarding reports that a woman had reportedly pulled her shorts down and twerked at a park in front of several male juveniles.

DRUNKENNESS

• On Aug. 25 an individual was taken to the hospital for an involuntary detox after they were found outside QFC too drunk to care for themselves.

ASSAULT

• On Aug. 27 officers were contacted regarding reports that the victim was assaulted by her husband. The police report stated he allegedly elbowed and punched her in the chest. The report added the husband was not located and this case has been forwarded to the prosecutor for charging.

• On Aug. 29 it was reported that the victim had been assaulted by his girlfriend. The police report also stated his girlfriend had reportedly destroyed his personal property.

ACCIDENT

• On Aug. 28 an accident was reported to officers where the causing driver had failed to yield to the right of way traffic while turning left. The police report stated he pulled out into the path of traffic causing a collision.

AUTO THEFT

• On Aug. 28 it was reported to officers that the victim’s vehicle was stolen from the AT&T parking lot.

• On Sept. 1 an attempted theft of the victim’s vehicle was reported. The police report stated unknown suspects entered the vehicle and attempted to steal it but broke the key off in the ignition.

FAMILY DISTURBANCE

• On Sept. 1 officers responded to reports of a couple in the middle of a divorce were arguing over property. According to the police report, the wife reported her husband injured her hand while grabbing her cell phone. The report added there were contradicting statements from witnesses. This incident was forwarded for review.
