BURGLARY
• On July 16 officers were called to an impound lot when it was reported an unknown suspect entered and stole a vehicle. The police report added the suspect drove through the chain-link fence to leave the lot with the stolen vehicle.
• On July 17 officers responded to reports of a forced entry burglary that occurred at a home being remodeled. The police report stated tools were stolen from the site.
STOLEN PROPERTY
• On July 14 officers contacted a subject around 7:15 a.m. who was asleep on a private park bench. The police report stated the subject had a misdemeanor warrant out of the Kent Police Department. The report added a search of the subject led officers to find items that were reported stolen from car prowls in the area last week. Officers booked the subject on the warrant.
FORGERY
• On July 14 it was reported to officers someone had attempted to use a forged or stolen check at Costco.
• On July 15 officers were called to a gas station to reports that a customer attempted to use a counterfeit $50 bill.
TRESPASS
• On July 14 after four subjects reportedly caused a scene in Walmart, a store manager had them officially trespassed from the property.
• On July 16 officers trespassed a female subject from Rite Aid following reports that she exposed herself a few weeks ago and caused a disturbance in the store on the day of this incident.
LARCENY
• On July 14 officers responded to Kohl’s to reports that two male subjects had taken clothing and jewelry without paying for it.
• On July 15 it was reported that four subjects entered the Maple Valley Safeway and used re-usable grocery bags to conceal alcohol. The police report stated they left the store without paying and fled the scene.
• On July 16 it was reported to officers that unknown suspects broke the victim’s vehicle window and stole a bag of makeup from inside.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES
• On July 15 it was reported to officers that the reporting party believed his daughter’s Facebook had been hacked. The police report stated that inappropriate comments were being made to her friends via her Facebook.
VANDALISM
• On July 16 it was reported that an adult son got into a verbal confrontation with his mother. The police report stated following the dispute, he began to destroy her belongings.
ROBBERY
• On July 16 officers were contacted regarding reports that around 7 p.m. two unknown males entered the victim’s vehicle and threatened to stab the passenger if she did not get out. The police report stated the suspects then fled the scene in the vehicle. The report added the female victim was reportedly sleeping when the incident began.
• On July 18 officers responded to Kohl’s to reports of a robbery. The police report stated the suspect had reportedly threatened to pepper spray the reporting party while they were leaving the store.
DUI
• On July 16 officers pulled over a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. The police report stated the female driver was arrested for driving under the influence. The report added she blew a .272 and .249 and had told officers she had been drinking at her boyfriend’s house.
CRIMINAL WARRANT
• On July 17 it was reported that officers pulled over a bicyclist for not wearing a helmet. The police report stated the rider was then booked on a felony warrant out of Spokane.
• On July 19 officers were dispatched to Home Depot to reports of a suspicious person who appeared to be prowling vehicles. The police report stated the male subject was reportedly looking into vehicles. The report added that upon contact with him, he lied to officers about his name.
HIT AND RUN
• On July 18 officers were called to The Lost Dutchman to reports that a patron had backed out of a parking stall and hit a parked vehicle. The police report stated the suspect fled the scene and drove home.
LIQUOR VIOLATION
• On July 18 officers responded to reports that a 20 year old was drinking vodka in a park.
DRUNKENNESS
• On July 19 officers involuntarily committed a male subject to a hospital for detox after he was found wandering on a pipeline right of way. The police report stated he was highly intoxicated and was unable to care for himself.
VANDALISM
• On July 20 it was reported that unknown subjects scratched the victim’s vehicle while it was parked in the Walmart parking lot.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED
• On July 21 officers stopped a vehicle that failed to yield to a pedestrian. The police report stated upon contact with the driver it was determined they were driving with a suspended license and had a warrant out of Black Diamond.
