CIVIL PROBLEM
• On July 3 it was reported to officers the reporting party’s vehicle and some clothing were missing from a friend’s house. The police report stated the friend had limited permission to use the vehicle.
CRIMINAL WARRANT
• On July 5 officers were called to the Maple Valley Fred Meyer for a welfare check. The police report stated officers were contacted by a store employee who was concerned that two females in a vehicle were passed out. Upon contact with the subjects, officers determined one was driving with a suspended license.
• On July 8 it was reported the passenger in a suspicious vehicle parked at Lake Wilderness Park had a misdemeanor warrant out of Ellensburg.
TRESPASS
• On July 5 it was reported that parents had instructed their children to shoplift candy and snacks from the Maple Valley Safeway.
LARCENY
• On July 1 officers booked a female subject into the Kent jail for shoplifting and a male subject into the King County jail for a warrant. The police report stated both subjects were trespassed from Fred Meyer and Johnsons Home &Garden in Maple Valley.
• On July 5 officers returned to the Maple Valley Safeway to another report of shoplifting. The police report stated the subjects stole food items from the store and assaulted loss prevention staff.
• On July 7 it was reported that unknown subjects had entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took their wallet, tools and other items. The police report stated the subjects left the area and went to Auburn where they made several purchases.
HARASSMENT
• On July 1 it was reported a 12 year old was harassing an 18 year old. The police report stated the 12 year was threatening to assault the other juvenile. The report added when the 18 year old ran off, he was chased by the 12 year old.
• On July 6 officers were contacted regarding multiple families who are having problems with a 13 year old. The police report stated the juvenile is causing problems by harassing other children.
OPERATOR’S LICENSE VIOLATION
• On July 1 officers stopped a vehicle for several traffic violations. The police report stated the driver was arrested for driving without a valid license and for providing false information.
DUI
• On July 3 officers stopped a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. The police report stated the driver was arrested for driving under the influence after he blew a .095 and .093. He reportedly told officers he had been drinking at home.
FRAUD
• On July 3 it was reported that the victim was scammed over the phone into wiring $2500 to unknown suspects.
