On June 14, Gov. Jay Inslee visited Kentwood High school to listen to students and parents concerns about the education system in Washington.

He was also there to answer any questions anyone has about the 2017-2019 budget plan. This plan would fully fund education and make record investments to transform the state’s mental health system.

It also includes, funding for teacher mentoring, support services for struggling and at-risk students and maintains the tuition cut passed two years ago.
