VEHICLE RECOVERY

• On May 26 a vehicle reported missing from Montana on May 14 was found abandoned in a neighborhood. According to the police report, the vehicle had been left for five days.

• A vehicle prowl led to a stolen vehicle recovery on May 25. According to the police report, a stolen vehicle was being prowled on at the parking lot of The Home Depot and was subsequently recovered.

ROBBERY

• On May 26 it was reported three juveniles stole alcohol from Rite Aid. According to the police report, an employee was pushed causing injury while the three fled the store.

AUTO THEFT

• On May 29 officers responded to reports a party’s vehicle was stolen from his garage overnight. The police report stated the garage door was left open and the keys were left inside the vehicle.

LARCENY

• On May 31 officers responded to a Soos Creek trailhead to reports that a vehicle window was smashed. The police report stated the window was broken in order for unknown suspects to steal a purse from inside.

• On May 31 it was reported a male subject had attempted to shoplift bedding from Marshalls. The police report added that he fled the store leaving his backpack behind.

• On June 3 a subject was arrested for shoplifting alcohol from Safeway and also for a minor in possession.

• A male shoplifted from The Home Depot on May 24. The male was followed and seen shoplifting. He had heroin on him.

• A vehicle was broken into overnight on May 29. According to the police report, a phone and medications were stolen from the vehicle.

FORGERY

• On May 31 officers were called to Paula’s Hallmark in Covington because an unknown suspect had reportedly used a bad check to purchase $253.10 worth of merchandise.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

• On May 31 a female subject was arrested for shoplifting from Johnsons Home and Garden. She had five warrants and during a search officers found drug paraphernalia in her purse.

ASSAULT

• On May 31 while the reporting party was working out at L.A. Fitness, another male subject came up to him. The police report stated it appeared the other man wanted to work out with the reporting party. However, the reporting party told him to leave him alone. The report added the reporting party took down the other male in self defense.

• On May 31 officers responded to reports that a juvenile was upset she couldn’t use the internet so she reportedly began to spit on her mom. The police report stated she was arrested for assault.

VANDALISM

• On June 1 it was reported to officers that a baseball had broken a window at the reporting party’s home. The police report stated the homeowner saw two juveniles running away from her home.

• On June 1 officers responded to the old Elk Run golf course driving range due to reports that unknown suspects had spray painted the building in red paint.

• A vandalized bridge was reported on May 20. An unknown suspect vandalized a bridge on a public park trail.

• Oil was put in a gas tank on May 25. An unknown suspect appeared to have put oil in the victim’s gas tank.

• An altercation took place at Walmart on May 27. According to the police report, a verbal altercation over a parking disagreement lead to the suspect throwing human feces on to the victim’s windshield.

OBSTRUCTING OFFICER

• On June 2 a suspect refused to stop on his bicycle when asked by officers. The police report stated he was later caught and booked into Kent jail.

TRESPASS

• On June 3 officers responded to reports that a subject had entered a construction site unlawfully. He was booked into the Kent jail.

• A signature gatherer was trespassed from Safeway on May 19. According to the police report, the shift manager for Safeway called the police to have a signature gatherer removed from the property.

DISTURBANCE

• A juvenile was causing a disturbance on a school bus on May 24.

FOUND PROPERTY

• A wallet was found at Cherokee Bay Community Park on May 25.

• A citizen found a wallet on May 26. The wallet was found in The Lake Wilderness Park and turned it in to Maple Valley City Hall.

MISCHIEF AND NUISANCE

• A juvenile wrote something about her classmates on May 25. The juvenile used a marker to write her classmate is so dead, a classmate that she did not get along with. The suspect wrote the message on a rock at the school bus stop in front of the Maple Crossing Apartments.

FORGED PRESCRIPTIONS

• A son filled a prescription under their father’s name without permission on May 25. According to the police report, the son filled a prescription for oxycodone using their father’s name. The son took a second prescription from his father, but had not filled it at the time of the report.

AUTO THEFT

• A vehicle was reported stolen on May 27 from the QFC parking lot.

FRAUD

• A victim was convinced by a suspect that they worked for the IRS and the suspect got money from her on May 27.

• At Wilderness estates, a victim was approached by a suspect and he told her he worked for the IRS and that if she doesn’t agree to send him money in the form of iTunes gift cards, she would go to jail.

DRUNKENNESS

• An intoxicated male operated a scissor lift on Witte Rd SE on May28.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• It was reported on May 23 that felons with warrants were cruising through the Lake Wilderness neighborhood.

CIVIL PROBLEM

• Petition signature gatherers and the Walmart manager got into an argument.
