The swimmers from Tahoma, Kentlake and Kentwood competed in the 4A girls state swim meet Saturday at King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
The Tahoma girls team came in 20th in the state scoring 32 points. Kentlake scored 14 and finished 29th.
Kentwood did not score as a team.
Tahoma
The Bears sent a team of seven girl to the 4A state meet to compete in an array of events.
Senior Lindsey Hanger swam in both individual and relay events. She took eighth in the 100-yard freestyle 53.90 seconds.
Hanger took 15th in the 50-yard free in 25.21.
Freshman Emiri Nishizawa also swam in both individual and relay events. She took 14th in the 500 freestyle in 5:31.33 and 21st in the 200 free in 2:05.82.
Hanger and Nishizawa swam on the 400-relay team finishing 12th 3:49.41. The team included Hanger, Bridget Duven, Shauna Monahan and Nishizawa.
In the 200 free relay the team of Iliana Hammerstrom, Duven, Nishizawa and Hanger took 14th in 1:45.25.
In the 200 medley relay Tahoma took 23rd in a time of 2:02.21. The team was Amy Gill, Sydney Sears, Monahan and Hammerstrom.
Kentlake
The Falcons sent two girls to compete in the dive event at the state meet.
Senior Katherine Beliveau took home a fifth place medal in dive scoring 327.65.
Cassie Padilla, a junior, come in 17th scoring 202.15.
Kentwood
The Kentwood girls team swam in two relay events.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay Chiyo Miyake, Hannah Ackerman, Kailani Akiyama and Annelise Hed took 22nd in 1:48.52.
Kentwood swam 24th in the 400 free relay in 4:02.27. The team members were Miyake, Ackerman, Avry Freaney and Hed.
