Michael John Gunderson

Michael John Gunderson, age 53, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side. He was born September 25, 1957 in Auburn, WA to Lloyd and Frances Gunderson. Michael grew up in the Kent, Covington area. After graduating high school Michael married his longtime love Julie Blume and they had two beautiful daughters; Amy and Jamie. Michael had a successful carrier at The Boeing Co. where he worked as a Machinist for over 30 Years. In his spare time he enjoyed working on and restoring his many vehicles, one being his 1930 Ford Model-A Pickup, he also loved Jeeping and Fishing. Michael is survived by daughters; Amy Jo and Jamie, and their mother Julie; mother, Frances Dube`; father, Lloyd Gunderson and one brother, Jerry; two grandchildren, Braden Michael, and Haylie Grace. Visitation will be Saturday June 25, 2011 10-11am with Funeral to follow at 11am. Both will be held at Edline-Yahn & Covington Funeral Chapel, 27221 156th Ave. SE. Kent, WA 98042.
