Richard F. Bandlow
Rich Bandlow, age 60, died Feb. 25, 2010 peacefully at his home in Covington, with family by his side. He was born October 31, 1949 in Tallahassee, FL. Rich received a BA from Florida State U. in 1972 and an MBA from Gonzaga U. in 1983. From 1972 Rich served 6 years with the Air Force where he flew the KC-135. He retired from the AF Reserves in 1993 where he flew the C-141. Rich had great pride and honor for our country. Rich worked for the FAA and then flew for USAirways for 23 years until 2009; most recently flying the A-330 to Europe.He was a selflessly devoted husband and dad, and had a vibrant sense of humor. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, shooting and the outdoors generally. He also loved animals, especially the dogs and horses in his family. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Judy; daughter Jessica; his sister Carol (Terry) Broadway; a niece, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by parents Richard O. and Hazel Bandlow. A visitation and gathering to celebrate Richards’s life will be held Saturday March 6, 2010 at Edline-Yahn & Covington Funeral Chapel 27221 156th Ave SE. Kent, WA. 12-7PM. Burial will be Tuesday March 9, 2010 at 1:15PM Tahoma National Cemetery 18600 SE. 240th St. Kent, WA.
