Please join us Saturday February 7 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Covington www.sjtbcc.org for “Gloria’s Miracle: A Night of Inspiration” is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., following Mass at 5:30. The program will feature the girl’s parents, Doug and Kristen Strauss, Dr. Tom Curran and Seattle Times columnist Jerry Brewer, who wrote an award-winning series of articles about the girl, who died in 2007 at the age of 11.

A free-will offering will be collected to support Gloria’s Angels (www.gloriasangels.org), a non-profit organization started by the Strauss family to help people focus on caring for a family member with a life-threatening condition.

“A Night of Inspiration” is an annual faith-sharing and fund-raising event, said Dan Lee, who coordinates the program at St. John. Presented by the Knights of Columbus, it’s in its eighth year and has raised nearly $25,000 to support charitable causes, Lee said.
