Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra, whose members wore festive attire for recent holiday performances, is getting ready for its second trimester. Young musicians with two or more years of playing experience can join for activities that will include a waltz gala ball Feb. 13 at the Olson Mansion and a performance with the community choir of Vaughn William’s “Five Mystical Pieces” April 24-25.
