Reader helps save owl in Ravensdale

Dylan Parkinson wrote us here at The Reporter to let us know that Heaven’s Sake Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation saved an owl.

Parkinson said someone posted on a Facebook group page about an injured owl on the side of the road in Ravensdale last week.

He told us he sent a friend to the location while he tried to contact wildlife rehabilitation groups in the area.

Heaven’s Sake answered and arrived on scene to rescue the owl.

When he arrived, Parkinson said, the owl was already in a tote ready to be transported.

Parkinson said a friend’s daughter named the owl, Winter.

He wants to thank everyone that was involved.
