MultiCare opened the doors to Indigo Urgent Care Friday in Covington.

The new urgent care facility will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The clinic will be different than other urgent cares in the area.

Indigo will provide patients with many amenities during their visit including coffee or water, WiFi and charging stations.

Dr. Julie Stroud, MultiCare Urgent Care Medical Director, said Indigo is “urgent care with a personal touch and relaxing environment.”

Stroud added, “the atmosphere is more like a coffee shop than a medical facility.”

Some services that are available at Indigo include treating cold and flu symptoms, minor burns or bruises, sprains, urinary tract infection among many others.

The new location is located at 27111 167th Place SE near City Hall.

This is the fourth location to open in 2016 with another set to open today, Oct. 14. And three more scheduled to open before the end of the year.
