The Seattle Seahawks announced today a list of fan activities that will be available during the 13 training camp practices at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC) began July 30. All practices open to the public are sold out.
All camp registrants must check in at the Seahawks Training Camp Parking and Transportation Center, located at 822-B N. 10th Place in The Landing shopping center (west of The Pro Shop). Fans are asked to bring their printed tickets for scanning and valid photo ID to confirm registration and receive camp wristbands. Youth under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult and children under the age of two are not required to be registered.
Fan activities include the following:
• Complimentary face painting, inflatable games and photo-ops with both Blitz and the Sea Gals.
• A Seahawks Legend will be on-site each day to sign autographs.
• Great food choices from Metropolitan Grill will be offered at this year’s training camp, including breakfast and pulled pork sandwiches, roasted turkey legs, fresh corn off the grill and a new Kielbasa Spicy Dog. Fan favorites like shaved ice and Tastz Kettle Korn will also be available. Food and beverage purchases are cash only and there are no ATMs at the VMAC.
• Virginia Mason Medical Center staff will be on-site daily to assist with first aid needs.
• Seahawks partners Bonneville, Eat the Ball, Q13 and Safeway will also offer fan activities throughout camp.
• Five Star Youth Football will sell donated bottles of Starbucks Iced Coffee and Sparkling Ice to support local youth football programs.
• Volunteers from Spirit of 12 Junior Partners, Girls on the Run of Puget Sound and Outdoor for All will be collecting donations for the 2016 Seahawks Yearbook.
• DJ Supa Sam will be on-site each day to serve as the official Seahawks DJ. He was named Best Local Radio Personality in the 2015 Best of Western Washington poll and currently hosts a daily radio show on KUBE 104.9 FM.
• The Pro Shop at Renton Landing will be open at 7 a.m. for all practices except Sunday, August 7 that begins at 1 p.m. For the first time, the team will staff two merchandise tents at VMAC. The merchandise tents will feature gear from New Era and Nike, plus other items like blankets, sun screen and panel footballs for autographs.
